
The average home price in Markham reached $1.21 million in March 2025, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. This marks a 0.2 per cent increase, or $2,335, from February 2025, but is down 9.9 per cent, or $133,289, compared to March 2024.
A total of 220 homes were sold in March, with properties staying on the market for an average of 21 days. Active listings at the end of the month totaled 569, reflecting a 31.4 per cent increase from a year ago, while sales were down by 28.3 per cent.
Detached homes saw a decrease in price, averaging $1.64 million, which represents a 3.5 per cent drop, or $58,566, from February 2025, and an 11.1 per cent decline, or $203,863, from March 2024. There were 89 detached home sales, with an average market time of 20 days and 239 active listings at month-end.
